You have accepted responsibility for somebody's cremated remains (cremains). What will you do with them?
Let cremains become part of the beauty of nature.
To do this good deed for a free spirit, contact the Parkland Peace cremated ashes scattering service.
Call 1-231-883-2920 or e-mail email@example.com
By authorizing a Parkland Peace officer to settle cremains in a parkland or park-like estate, you can help family and friends to gain closure. It may comfort them to know that your decision is to provide light, freedom and a lovely environment for the cremains.
You will be concluding your safekeeping responsibility in a way that honors the deceased.
Parkland Peace has established wonderful sites in which to settle cremains (scatter ashes). We are permitted to do so in a magnificent National Park in Michigan that encompasses forests, sand dunes, shoreline and islands of Lake Michigan. In Texas, specific state parks are our arena, and in Texas and Arizona, private estates afford natural riches and mountain splendor.
By engaging Parkland Peace, you will be preserving healthy family dynamics.
Keeping an urn of cremated remains in a household can become stressful as families evolve and circumstances change.
When cremains become part of the beauty of nature, family members and friends who live far from each other and from the settling site may feel a comforting connection when visiting their local park.
Our purpose is to assist you in transitioning cremated remains from storage into sunlight. We manage the legal, logistical and physical processes of settling cremains properly. As your representative, we protect the dignity and privacy of people whom we are privileged to serve.
Parkland Peace officers understand that your household pet is a cherished family member, for we have pets. When you need to settle the cremains of a beloved animal, we are prepared to perform this service with pure care on your behalf.
Mail cremains to Parkland Peace for ethical, respectful and caring settlement according to your directives.
After all... Healing begins, and a time comes for letting go. Not of good memories and gratitude, but of cremated remains. For personal and family peace, entrust cremains to Parkland Peace.
It'seasy to do...
We suggest shipping cremated remains to us via the United States Postal Service. Shipping of cremains is permitted by USPS through its Priority Mail Express service, following packaging guidelines.
To view the guidelines, see the “Mailing” tab of this website. You will learn that both an inner and outer container are necessary. Each must be strong, durable, and sift-proof. You may use USPS Priority Mail Express boxes, which are free. The destination address must be on each container. USPS recommends using padding such as air bubble wrap to ensure that there is no movement of contents within either box, and to place the inner box within a sealed plastic bag before putting it into the outer container.
The destination address must be printed in block-style letters, or a Priority Mail Express label may be printed from your computer. Do not state on the container that the contents are cremated remains. That information is only needed on a customs declaration form for packages that are to be mailed to an international address.
Setting something free is a wonderful feeling!
Everyday low price:
Standard Settling Service in an Alpha Site, $150.
Standard Settling is a surface release of cremated remains by Parkland Peace officers in an Alpha Site, which is a park or estate of our choice. Park permits may be conditional and granted by park authorities on an annual basis, so we must have flexibility to choose the best available option at any given time.
The Directives page of this website has a Requests and Notes section. Please include the Directives page in the package to guide us if you have a general preference such as shoreside or a forest trail. This form may also be used to order additional services as described on the Services page of this website.
Parklands do not permit markers to be established at a settling site.
It is not necessary to identify either the sender or the being whose cremains are to be settled. This information is welcome, though, and may be provided by including the Directives page from this website.
Mailing a package of cremated remains will establish that the sender authorizes Parkland Peace to settle the contents. It further establishes that the sender understands that, once released, the settled cremains (scattered ashes) cannot be returned to the sender or anyone else.
Please include payment as a check or money order made payable to Parkland Peace.
If payment but no instructions are in the package, a Standard Settling Service will be performed.
